Well here I am! You're about to venture into the SJN Chronicles. A no-nonsense, sometimes pollitically incorrect but for the most part entertaining BLOG.

A little about SJN (me): My name is Shawn and I currently reside in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. As of this writing, I am an unemployed global network engineer after being laid off from a career of 15 years for a global componant distributer. D-day came on July 25th and I've been pounding the pavement ever since. But more on that later.

I lead your average American life, got a wife, a kid and a dog. No white picket fence though and I spend wayyyy too much time banging away on this computer. I am a self professed Geek and I wear that as a badge. Most people I refer to as friends are those that find it convenient to have someone within arms reach to fix their computers. Thats okay though. Its what I do- Its what I love. My idea of a great time is gathering my buddies, some pizza and Dr. Pepper and making hamburger out of them in several rounds of Unreal Tournament or Battlefield 1942 over the course of a weekend.
